Mercedes Benz Rear Seat Entertainment
Since 2002 Eurologics have produced Rear Seat entertainment systems for Mercedes Benz Accessories GmbH. This a subsidiary company of the DaimlerChrysler concern specialised in after market accessories for Mercedes Benz cars. This system is developped in very close cooperation with the factory in Stuttgart. The aim was to develop a system for on the cardan shaft of the Mercedes Benz E-Class (current type 211) and on the basis of equal components for the Mercedes Benz S-Class (previous type W220). 
Given the stir in the workshop, build in hours at dealers had to be limited to maximum 2 hours and within 5 minutes the end-user must be able to place and take out the unit. Additionally, a multipurpose DVD player had to be used, both arranged for at home use and elsewhere e.g. in a holiday house to be able amuse the children not in the car only but always.
Use of headphones with wire had been required (although currently a wireless headphone can be provided) to guarantee simplicity.
Since 2006 the system has been free, this means that Eurologics can provide this system to third parties.
